The Initial Meeting
At our first meeting, which is free of charge and without obligation, we will tell you about Anderson Sinclair and what our service entails. We will also ask you about your situation and put together a preliminary assessment of your requirements. The purpose of the meeting is to establish whether we can work together and whether you can benefit from our service and receive value for money. There is no obligation at this point. If you decide to engage our services we will agree on a suitable service proposition for you and we will also decide on the most appropriate remuneration package for our services. You then have a decision to make as to whether you wish to proceed.
Once you have confirmed our appointment as your financial adviser our first step (which may possibly follow straight after the initial meeting) will be to start to prepare a financial plan tailored to your particular requirements and situation. We will spend some time talking with you to identify your goals over the short, medium and long term. After that we will find out details about your specific circumstances, and build up a comprehensive picture of your situation which we can then analyse.
The Action plan
After a detailed analysis of your circumstances and a careful assessment of your attitude to risk, we then undertake in-depth research before submitting our recommendations. These will be contained in an action plan which will explain how we believe you can best reach your stated goals. This is always in the form of a clear, concise report which explains the approach we have taken and why. We always discuss, adjust or fine tune our recommendations as necessary, reach agreement with you and then proceed to implementation.
The next stage is to implement that plan step by step, and we will give guidance on the most suitable way to go about this, which can include recommending specific products available on the market at the current time.
The Regular reviews
Progress needs to be revised at regular intervals which we will agree with you, and adjustments made as necessary, depending on changes in circumstances or your initial goals.
